Balmai Wyngarde was a Baroness of House Melantha that governed the Melantha Province of the Tapani Sector.
During the Galactic Civil War was a mature woman and she believed that the Tapani Sector was the last bastion of culture in the Galaxy, particularly after the rise of the Empire. She had no love for Palpatine's New Order.
