Band of Techrats

The Band of Techrats was a youth swoop-gang on the planet Cerea, circa 33 BBY. The group was made up of pro-tech teenagers who favored joining the Republic and abandoning the old, low-tech ways favored by the Elders. They were also known to paint their faces to hide their identities.
Unknowingly, the kids became involved in a conspiracy by a corrupt Elder to smuggle in banned technology in exchange for rare Cerean minerals. They were led by Skeel, who met an untimely end in a swoop race accident in the Outsider Citadel. Other known members of the gang were Maj-Odo-Nomor, Sylvn, Twin, and Kordren.
