Bandor was the capital city of the planet Bandomeer. Located along the northern mid-latitudes shores of the Great Sea of Bandomeer, it was the planet's only city. Bandor housed the meagre government facilities and the governor's official residence, various native Meerians' domiciles and extensive mining operations. Numerous mines and drilling projects dotted the city. Meerians worked in various trades and support services, as well as in the mines around Bandor.

In addition to the native Meerian population, Bandor was also home to one of the most recognized Ithorian expatriate populations in the Outer Rim Territories.
