Bandy Geffer was a male Human Jedi apprentice of the New Jedi Order. He was at the Jedi Temple when Mandalorian warriors hired by the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances Chief of State Natasi Daala raided the temple. During the fight, Geffer assisted Jedi Knight Raynar Thul in subduing five Mandalorians.

Later, Bandy participated in the rescue attempt of Valin and Jysella Horn. He and Jedi Knight Doran Sarkin-Tainer piloted an airspeeder disguised as a HoloNet News vehicle to help extract "Team Saav'etu", "Team Solo", and the Horn siblings. After he was one of four Jedi assigned to a post on Klatooine until the anti-slavery rebels achieved their independence, the other three being Jedi Master Kyp Durron, Jedi Knight Sothais Saar, and Jedi Youngling Raharra Lapti.
