Behind the scenesEdit

The concept of Bantha bile was created by artist Timothy Bradstreet for his illustration of Han Solo on the cover of Star Wars Insider 89. Originally he wanted to depict Han with contraband deathsticks but Lucasfilm did not want the Corellian associated with these drugs. Instead Bradstreet chose black-market bantha bile to be depicted in shipments stamped with Greedo head icons demonstrating the materials planet of origin. Bantha bile is described as a kind of medicinal remedy similar to grizzly bear bile used by the Chinese.
