Barabel Civil War

The Barabel Civil War was ignited by a dispute for prime hunting grounds between two factions. It nearly wiped out the Barabels if not for a small group of Jedi, led by the Ithorian Noga-ta, that came to Barab I circa 900 BBY. The Jedi helped resolve the thousand year dispute and caused the Barabels to hold the Jedi in high regard for many years to come, even up through the Galactic Civil War and beyond.
