Barbflies were flying, nest-making insects from the Yuuzhan Vong galaxy, that accompanied the warring species into the galaxy. They were used to create traps and snares for swoops. It is unknown what became of the barbflies after the war ended or whether they were transplanted to Zonama Sekot.
