Baron of the Empire

Baron of the Empire was a title bestowed upon servants of the Galactic Empire for outstanding service to it. Galactic Emperor Palpatine himself granted the title to Baron Soontir Fel, an Imperial starfighter ace, for his excellent performance at the Battle of Derra IV.[1] With the title came a baton signifying the rank and an estate, in Fel's case on his homeworld of Corellia.[2]
