Barq was an expensive cereal used in luxury restaurants all over the galaxy. The pearl-like grains were native to the Outer Rim world of Qiilura which had a musky, almost fungal smell.

HistoryEdit

During the time of the Clone Wars, the barq exports from Qiilura were controlled by the Trade Federation. Moreover, during Omega Squad's mission to Qiilura, the Trade Federation significantly raised the barq price due to the collateral damage dealt to a couple of barq fields and farms by the Republic Commandos and some of Ghez Hokan's more unruly troops.
