Biography
Edit
A Force-sensitive Cerean, Barra-Rona-Ban was raised by the Jedi Order during a time of war and upheaval. During this time, basic instruction in the ways of the Force was not the main focus of the academy of the Jedi; instead focusing on lightsaber combat and military strategy. Ascending to the rank of Jedi Knight, Jedi Ban served in the Army of Light until the end of the war and the defeat of the Brotherhood of Darkness at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan.[1]
After the war, Jedi Ban used his skills as a Jedi Lore Keeper, rising to the roll of Chief Librarian of the Coruscant Jedi Temple Archives. Maintaining offices off of the Archives' main halls, Master Ban was the unwittingly used by the last of the Sith Lords to gain information. Darth Zannah, apprentice to the secret Darth Bane, researched Ban's career and spotted a weakness. The Cerean had a good friendship with Jedi Master Anno Wen-Chii who had returned to his homeworld to conduct independent study with his Padawan Nalia Adollu. Because of Master Ban's dislike of the cold and his responsibilities on Coruscant he would not have time to travel to Polus and thus Zannah had her opportunity. Disguising herself as Nalia Adollu, Zannah entered the Temple and asked Ban for permission to enter the Archives in search to help in the Sith Lord's research of Orbalisks. It was revealed during their conversation that Barra-Rona-Ban hated the cold, and was not planning to go and meet his old friend.
