Baskol Yeesrim was a Gran male from Malastare who served as a senator of the Gran Protectorate, and later as one of Aks Moe's Representatives in the Galactic Senate of the Republic.
Biography
In 32 BBY, he once offered Senator Palpatine an ornate, ceremonial Gran wind drum from an ancient spiritual era. Palpatine kept it on display in his apartment suite in 500 Republica. Yeesrim was also increasingly anti-Dug, due to the larger political standing of Gran in Malastarian hierarchy.[1] During the Invasion of Naboo, Yeesrim supported Senator Moe's decision for a commission to be sent to Naboo to verify Queen Padmé Amidala's claims against the Trade Federation's blockade of the planet.
Following Moe's assassination in the year 22 BBY, Yeesrim went on to serve the Senator's successor, Ask Aak along with Ainlee Teem.
Behind the scenes
In Episode I: The Visual Dictionary Senator Aks Moe was mistakenly referred to as Baskol Yeesrim. In Star Wars: Darth Plagueis, he is referred to as the aide of "Senator Ainlee Teem".
