The Battle Lance was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer of the Imperial Navy.

HistoryEdit

Sometime before the Battle of Yavin, it was selected to test an improved prototype hypermatter reactor. Due to a malfunction, the null-point energy produced by the drive became unstable and within a microsecond the ship was vaporized, with the loss of the full crew of 37,000.

Hora Graneet, the nephew of Tenn Graneet, served on this ship and died during the accident.
