During the Cold War between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, a battle was waged aboard the Sith battlecruiser Voidstar. The technologically-advanced vessel had gone missing during the Great Galactic War years prior, only to be rediscovered during the Cold War by both factions. The now-derelict ship contained the schematics for a prototype superweapon—a prize sought after by both the Republic and the Empire. An Imperial strike team boarded the vessel to acquire it, but were intercepted by a Republic team led by Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan.
