The Battle of the Hexus system occurred between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems around 21 BBY. A squad of Tempest Zero starfighters, led by Tofen Vane, attacked the Republic blockade of the system by Admiral Aldanna. During the battle Anakin Skywalker's Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor was shot down by Tofen, who gained the upper hand on the Jedi. His squad was initially successful, but was forced to retreat when Republic reinforcements led by Admiral Wullf Yularen had arrived.
