The Battle of Altyr V was a battle fought on Altyr V during the Clone Wars.

Captain Deviss and an unidentified Jedi General led the initial assault against the Separatist base, but when the Jedi was vaporized, the Galactic Republic forces stumbled. However, Deviss rallied the remaining companies under his leadership and with their help managed to storm a Separatist ion cannon, destroying it and preventing the enemy from holding back the orbiting Republic forces. Republic warships bombarded the base from orbit, and the Grand Army was able to retake Altyr V.

For this remarkable act of bravery and initiative, Clone Marshal Commander CC-5052, the leader of the 327th Star Corps, promoted Deviss to Commander.
