The Battle of Anaxes took place in 20 BBY during the Clone Wars. It was the final showdown in the confrontation between the Victory Fleet and the Bulwark Fleet.

After three previous battles, the two fleets met in the Axum system and fought above Anaxes. With Captain Jan Dodonna's Republic task force pinned down and taking heavy fire, Captain Terrinald Screed managed to flank CIS commander Dua Ningo and his Bulwark Mark I battlecruisers, reducing his flagship—and Ningo himself—to atoms.

Although scarred for life and forced to wear prosthetic replacements, Screed survived the battle to return to Coruscant with Dodonna and be hailed as heroes by the Galactic Republic.
