A battle at the planet Anaxes took place in 10 ABY during the offensive planned by reborn Emperor Palpatine against the New Republic to reconquer the Core Worlds. These assaults were executed by the reunified Imperial warlords and loyal Imperial forces prior to the launch of Operation Shadow Hand. Following the fall of Coruscant, Superior General Sander Delvardus was charged to reconquer the northern part of the Core. This battle allowed the Empire to control Anaxes and attack Brentaal IV.
