The Battle of Ashas Ree was a conflict of the Great Galactic War, waged around 3,660 BBY. After failed attacks on the Sith planets of Korriban and Ziost, the forces of the Galactic Republic, under the command of Jedi Master Ven Zallow, launched an attack on the Ashas Ree—a world in the heart of Sith Empire territory. The planet was defended by the Imperial Armada and Army under the command of Darth Angral and Darth Malgus. Despite the tenacity of Master Zallow and his Republic Military forces, the Jedi and his comrades lost the battle and were forced to fall back to Serenno.

Behind the scenesEdit

Daniel Wallace, author of Book of Sith: Secrets from the Dark Side, originally planned for the attack on Ashas Ree to be an assault on the Imperial capital of Dromund Kaas, but his first draft was vetoed by LucasArts.^[1]
