A battle took place on the planet Bakura around seven standard weeks after the outbreak of the Clone Wars in 22 BBY. After a battle on the planet Anoth, Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker fought on Bakura against Separatist forces led by the cyborg General Grievous. A traitor in the Bakuran governement made it possible for Grievous to slay the entire Ruling Synod.^[1]

The battle received a brief mention in The Clone Wars: Wild Space, a novel written by Karen Miller and published in 2008.^[1]
