The Battle of Basilisk was one of several taking place between the Republic Victory Fleet and the Separatist Bulwark Fleet.

The battle was inconclusive as the Bulwark Fleet remained a threat, forcing the Victory Fleet to pursue it further. Eventually, the Separatist fleet would be destroyed at the Battle of Anaxes.
