The Battle of Basilisk was one of several taking place between the Republic's Victory Fleet and the Separatist's Bulwark Fleet.

The battle was inconclusive as the Bulwark Fleet remained a threat, forcing the Victory Fleet to pursue it further. The Separatist fleet was later destroyed at the Battle of Anaxes.
