The Battle of Basilisk was a battle of the Jedi Civil War, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and Darth Revan's Sith Empire. At Basilisk, the two sides fought with the Republic emerging as the victors. Sometime following the battle at Basilisk, the Republic used the planet as a launching point for a campaign to take Chazwa.^[1]

The Battle of Basilisk makes its only appearance in The Essential Atlas.^[1] An exact date is not provided for the battle, and it only illustrates the battle on the galactic map rather than in prose.^[1]
