A battle took place on the planet of Commenor^[2] in 3,962 BBY as part of the Mandalorian Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. The Mandalorians campaigned to take control of the Core World of Duro that year, an offensive they dubbed "Mandalorian Triumph." The charge consisted of two forces advancing Coreward, with one originating from Mandalorian territory that conquered several worlds before it passed through the Zel system and to Commenor.^[1] Once the Mandalorians defeated a Republic task force stationed on Commenor and took the world,^[2] they moved on to the Quellor system, then the Exodeen system, before finally taking Duro.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

The battle was referenced in The Essential Atlas. The Commenor system was marked on the galactic map showing systems that hosted battles of the Mandalorian Wars. The Essential Guide to Warfare later referred to the battle as taking place on the planet of Commenor.
