The Battle of Crombach Nebula was a battle during the Clone Wars that was fought at the Crombach Nebula sometime prior to the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. During the engagement—which involved forces of the Republic facing forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems—the Confederate Munificent-class star frigate Tide of Progress XII was damaged when the Republic-allied Jedi General Wom-Nii Gnaden^[1] lost control^[2] and crashed his NTB-630 naval bomber into it.^[1]

The Battle of Crombach Nebula was first mentioned in the 2005 reference book Revenge of the Sith: Incredible Cross-Sections on a page showcasing Confederate capital ships. The battle was later mentioned in the 2007 Star Wars: Complete Cross-Sections and in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published in 2008.
