The Battle of Hoth was fought at the height of the Great Galactic War, when Republic and Imperial fleets clashed in the Hoth system. The battle saw the usage of many new and powerful starships, like the Republic prototype warship armed with the Null Cannons. During this battle also the Imperial starship that was transporting captured Jedi Master Wyellett was destroyed and Master Wyellett was believed dead.

AftermathEdit

Many starships were wrecked on Hoth following the battle. A group of pirates salvaged many spare parts after hearing about the wealth left behind. Bringing many droids and mercenaries, they looted many parts in order to create their own armada. Following the Treaty of Coruscant, both the Republic and the Sith Empire returned to Hoth, making it a site of contention. Several skirmishes occurred, and the two superpowers became determined to fight on Hoth no matter what.
