Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: unit2, unit1 Just over a year after the Battle of Hoth, in which the Galactic Empire routed the Alliance to Restore the Republic from their headquarters, another battle was fought on the icy planet of Hoth, this time between the Empire and the Anoat sector's faction of resistance known as the Uprising. The Imperials aimed to prevent the Uprising from getting ahold of the valuable salvage still lying on Hoth.[1]
Behind the scenes
This battle is a "Sector Battle,"[1] a game-wide event that earns the players powerful rewards and dictates the expansion of in-game content. The canonical outcome of a Sector Battle is not known, since it is determined by the players' involvement.[2] However, the approximate date and the motives of the battle were addressed in the in-game description.[1]
