The Battle of Kaer Orbital Platform took place early on in the Clone Wars.

Soon after the Battle of Geonosis, Count Dooku desired that his most trusted General, a Dark Acolyte named Sev'rance Tann, help the CIS to rebuild its droid armies.
Because of the great amount of resources—including ore, nova crystals, carbon and food—that the InterGalactic Banking Clan had left on their abandoned base, the Kaer Orbitial Platform, Tann was sent there. She brought with her a small force of B2 super battle droids and one heavy hailfire droid, together with some power droids and Geonosian workers.

Her mission was to create 20 DSD1 dwarf spider droids and 20 OG-9 homing spider droids. It sounded like a simple mission, but a Republic taskforce under the command of Jedi General Jor Drakas arrived at the platform and the mission quickly turned into a battle. However, Tann's forces were able to infiltrate the Republic base and destroyed their ships making Jor Drakas Contact reinforments from a closer Fleet;Soon, Tann's new droid army was finished Dooku sent Geonosian transports to ship the new forces to Tatooine & Raxus Prime before The Republic Capture and recclaim the orbital plataform

After they escaped the station Sev'rance Tann Send the DSD1 dwarf spider droids,the OG-9 homing spider droids and the heavy hailfire droid along with the Geonosians army back to Raxus Prime to reserve them for theConquest of Sarapin and it's Defense Meanwhile Sev'rance along with the B2 super battle droids and some Droidekas Set course to Tatooine in a Mission to find The most powerful weapon of the Republic
