The Battle of Kirrek, fought during the Great Hyperspace War, was a battle between the army of Koros and the Sith Empire.

Prior to the battle, Empress Teta made an agreement with Commander Llaban, the rebel leader from the earlier Battle of Kirrek, to fight alongside each other to defend Kirrek against the Sith, earning amnesty for the ex-rebels in the process.
She also decided to let the prisoners of Ronika free, to fight in the defense of Kirrek, but they were absent in the early part of the battle.
[edit] The Battle
As the battle commenced, Odan-Urr attempted to use his battle meditation as he had done during the Unification Wars, but the fury and determination of the Massassi warriors was infallible.
Led by the Sith Lord Shar Dakhan, the Massassi broke through the line of defenders and began climbing the citadel walls. Separating many of the defenders from the Sith onslaught, Odan-Urr's Celegian Master Ooroo ordered the Kirrek rebels to find cover.
He then tipped himself over, shattering his cyanogen tank and letting the toxic fumes be inhaled by several Massassi, including Shar Dakhan, thus killing them instantly. This action killed Ooroo as well, since oxygen was just as toxic to him as cyanogen was to the Massassi.
Eventually, the prisoners from Ronika arrived, and with the death of the Sith commander, victory for the Tetans was ensured.
