The battleEdit

Not much is known about the battle, only that it apparently involved the Galactic Republic and/or Jedi fighting against the Krath, within Hutt Space. With the emergence of a Sith cult in the Tapani Sector, the Krath signed a non-aggression pact with the Hutts. In response, Republic forces launched a raid on Ko Vari which obliterated the orbiting Krath fleet and devastated much of the planet's surface, depopulating it.

Behind the scenesEdit

The exact year has likewise not yet been officially established, only a brief allusion by Lucasfilm author Abel G. Peña.

Peña then elucidated upon a specific timeframe for the battle, suggesting that it fell not long around the same time as the Dark Reaper Campaign, owing to the following quotation from the Dark Empire Sourcebook:

"There are many, like the Krath, who were content to rule a small region of the galaxy. Others, like Ulic Qel-Droma, simply spread death on a genocidal level." (p. 63)
