The Battle of Lavisar was an abortive raid in 7 ABY by part of Wraith Squadron and Rogue Squadron on the Imperial world of Lavisar. During the battle, a New Republic intelligence team detonated a fake bomb when Wraith Squadron approached the world. The Wraiths then purposefully fled from the battle, pursued by planetary defenders. During their escape they were able to wipe out a small lunar garrison launched to intercept them. The Wraiths suffered no casualties, though the defenders lost numerous starfighters. The New Republic later sent a contact team to the planetary government to reveal that their attack had been in response to evidence planted by Warlord Zsinj that indicated Zsinj controlled the planet.
