The Battle of Ring World took place some time after the Battle of Yavin.

It was an invasion of the Ring World system perpetrated by the Galactic Empire. A fleet was sent, led by the Executor, which opened fire on the planet's surrounding spaceport, damaging it extensively.

The event was later made into a painting called Executor Executes.
