The Battle of Ton-Falk was an early battle in the Galactic Civil War, where two EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates, one Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser and TIE fighters were destroyed by Rebel Alliance fighters at Ton-Falk.

The battleEdit

Alliance Commander Narra and his droid K-3PO devised an ingeniously simple tactic to defeat Imperial forces. The Rebel fighters exploited the fact that these ships had to get close to the battle to deploy their TIE fighter squadrons, thus making them vulnerable. The Alliance starfighters ganged up on the larger, slower ships, and subsequently destroyed them.

AftermathEdit

This defeat led to the development of escort carriers.^[1]
