The Battle of Vinsoth was a battle of the Yuuzhan Vong War, in 25 ABY.

AftermathEdit

Vinsoth being localized at the intersection of many hyperlanes, the capture of this planet allowed the Vong forces to split up efficiently in the New Republic territory. A part went to New Holgha (by the Celanon Spur), another to Vandyne (by the route to Tangrene) and the last to Botajef by the Salin Corridor. The Vong captured the Botajef system without meeting the New Republic Navy, acceding as well to the Hydian Way. From Botajef, the Vong fleet split up to Bandomeer (by the Hydian Way) and to Columex (by the Salin Corridor).

Behind the scenesEdit

The Battle of Vinsoth makes its only appearance in The Essential Atlas. The battle is only illustrated on the galactic map of the conflict.
