During the Clone Wars, a battle was fought over Wayland between the Galactic Republic and the CIS sometime prior to, or during, 19 BBY. A Jedi lost their life in the fighting when their starfighter was shot down.

Behind the scenesEdit

This battle is only mentioned in the opening pages of the Clone Wars novel Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, during a reminiscence by Master Jai Maruk. The Jedi, the ship they piloted, and the general details of the battle are not elaborated upon further.
