The Battle of Yavin was an Imperial Customs Frigate which was captured by the New Republic. It was assigned to the Black Curs, an independent Rebel group led by Dirk Harkness.

In 6 ABY, the Battle of Yavin crashed on Hensara III while fleeing the Imperial Strike-class cruiser Havoc. After the Havoc withdrew, Rogue Squadron and a CR90 corvette entered the Hensara system to rescue the ship's crew. The Havoc returned while the rescue operation was underway, but its starfighter forces were soundly beaten in what came to be known as the Rout of Hensara.
