After arresting and interrogating Denlace Sachoore, a 24-year old Corporate Alliance clerk caught embezzling information via a cranium-implanted vessel drive, the Corporate Alliance learned of an outlaw tech base supplying industrial espionage agents who were spying on the Alliance. The Corporate Alliance Exec Board voted 7-2 to eliminate the base, which was located on asteroid Yirt-4138-Grek-12 in the Fakir Sector.

The Alliance deployed NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcers from transports, which proceeded to travel 10 km across the asteroid, breach the pressurized structure using lasers and missile volleys, and kill at least 25 outlaw techs.

A number of senators, including Gopple, objected to the attack, which was technically legal.
