This battle took place in the Gizer system in 3,962 BBY as part of the Mandalorian Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. The battle took place because the Mandalorians campaigned to take control of the Core World of Duro. Called Mandalorian Triumph, this charge took the Mandalorian forces from their territory through the planet of Eres III. They continued to the Azure system and won the battle there before taking the Contruum system. Once the Mandalorians had taken that system, they continued coreward until they reached the planet of Exodeen, which they used to stage their successful capture of Duro.
