A battle took place in the Dernatine system of Hutt Space in 3,963 BBY as part of the Mandalorian Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. The Mandalorian forces advanced through the Dennogra system to reach Dernatine. After taking this system, the Mandalorians used it was a staging point for their campaign to take control of the Core World of Duro. Called Mandalorian Triumph, this charge was two pronged, with one that began in the Dernatine system and continued through the Charros system and to the Randon system. There, the Republic was able to hold their ground and halt that prong of the attack.

The battle is only referenced once in The Essential Atlas. It was marked on the galactic map showing the battles of the Mandalorian Wars rather than described in prose.
