Battle of unidentified planet (bubble wort projectors)
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
During the Clone Wars, a battle was fought on an unidentified planet between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Jedi General Anakin Skywalker rescued fellow Jedi Aayla Secura, Voolvif Monn and Agen Kolar after they had become encased in the bubbles created by LM-432 crab droids' bubble wort projectors.

Battle
Edit
During the Outer Rim Sieges campaign of the Clone Wars in 20 BBY, Galactic Republic Jedi General Aayla Secura, Senior General Voolvif Monn, and High Jedi General Agen Kolar were in battle with a group of LM-432 crab droids on an icy planet. Using their lightsabers, the Jedi managed to deflect several blaster shots fired by the crab droids. The droids then used their bubble wort projectors, ensnaring the three Jedi in bubbles. At that moment, General Anakin Skywalker appeared and destroyed one of the droids by cutting off its leg with his lightsaber. Skywalker then threw that leg into the second droid, destroying him as well. After that, Skywalker destroyed the remaining two droids and used the Force to free his fellow Jedi, who cheered at Skywalker's exploits.
Behind the scenes
Edit
The battle was briefly shown in the twenty-second episode of Genndy Tartakovsky's Star Wars: Clone Wars animated television series, which was originally aired on Cartoon Network on March 22, 2005. It marked the first appearance of the LM-432 crab droids, which went on to appear in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The droids' bubble weapon used in this battle was later identified as the "bubble wort projector" in the Databank entry. A ruined Lucrehulk-class Core Ship is also visible in the background. However, it is not known if it was damaged as a result of this particular battle.
