Bay 3 was the designation of the hangar bay where Dash Rendar's Outrider was kept at Echo Base around the time of the Battle of Hoth. After the Rebel base's generator was taken down and Han Solo, Leia Organa and Chewbacca escaped in the Millennium Falcon, Dash had to find a way to escape and open the bay door.
