[edit] Plot

Wuher, a droid hating bartender, is on his way to work at Chalmun's Cantina. He desires to make a drink that would please Jabba the Hutt. In an alley, he meets a strange droid, C2-R4, who begs for Wuher to save him from the Jawas. Wuher curses the droid and all his kind, then marches off in a fury. At the cantina that day, Greedo is shot and killed by Han Solo. Wuher has an enhanced sense of smell, and dedcides that Greedo would be the perfect ingredient for his special drink. He remembers that the droid he saw earlier is equipped with a special grinder, and races off to find him. When he does, he tells the droid to come with him. He feeds Greedo's corpse to the droid, and adds it to his drink. Jabba loves it, and Wuher has a new-found sense of appreciation for droids.

[edit] Behind the scenes

  • Though Wuher acknowledges serving a Ranat in the story, it is more likely Kabe the Chadra-Fan who was mistaken for the Ranat species while getting served in her own story earlier in the anthology.
