The beastwarden's shield was a defensive weapon from the Geonosian martial arts form of Petranaki.

The shield was made from a high strength bronzium disk that was very useful for defensive parries. However, the shield could also be used offensively; due to its serrated outer edge and light weight, many Geonosians threw the beastwarden's shield like a throwing disk, an action which often led to severe lacerations to their opponent.
