Beckett is a character set to appear in the upcoming Han Solo film of the Star Wars Anthology Series, and the character will be portrayed by actor Woody Harrelson. Early fan speculation believed that Harrelson would be playing Garris Shrike—Han Solo's mentor in the Star Wars Legends continuity—but this theory was proven incorrect when Harrelson revealed Beckett's name on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.[1]
