Bedlam was a rocky Mid Rim planet was located near the Bedlam Pulsar. The Bedlam Institution for the Criminally Demented was located on the planet.^[3] During the Galactic Civil War, Leia Organa was forced to land on the planet while pursued by Imperial forces. While there, she and three Imperial stormtroopers encountered the powerful beings known as the Bedlam Spirits.^[2]
