Behemoths were a predator species indigenous to Caamas. After Caamas' destruction, most behemoths perished, but some of the species survived by hibernating underground. When they awoke, they were gradually altered by the toxic, radioactive surface of Caamas, ultimately evolving into the mutated behemoth.
