Antes Belladar was the Imperial Governor of Reytha during the Galactic Civil War.

BiographyEdit

Antes Belladar was a Human male and the Imperial Governor of Reytha, a major agricultural world. While governing Reytha during the time of the Galactic Civil War, Belladar was tagged by Imperial Intelligence as "soft at best, a traitor at worst." Whether Antes privately supported the Rebellion or was merely lazy or inept was never determined. In 0 ABY, his planet was infiltrated by Rebel Alliance forces, who tried to loot its food supplies and installed several bases. When it looked like the Rebel forces were preparing for an attack, Belladar requested Darth Vader's assistance to drive them off, and Vader arrived with a strike force. However, Governor Belladar was uneasy around Vader, and didn't last long with him. Just prior to the battle for the Montrosa Islands, the Dark Lord impatiently asked why Belladar had not request an assistance earlier, before the Rebels established themselves on the planet, the flustered Governor claimed to not understand the question. Vader quickly put it in "simpler terms"; a Force Choke that killed Belladar.

Antes Belladar appears in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds during the Darth Vader campaign. The campaign is also included in the game's 2002 expansion pack, Clone Campaigns. Belladar was voiced by James Horan.
