Belnar was the peaceful homeworld of the Khil species. It joined the Galactic Republic before 22,000 BBY. It was covered in advanced metropolises, wide open spaces, and dank marshes. It was an early member of the New Republic.
Belnar's largely untouched swamps were the site of many research expeditions by offworld scientists.
