Bene was a female Human Jedi Padawan and Commander during the Clone Wars.

Bene was a beautiful girl who served as a Jedi for the Republic. In 19 BBY, in the Room of a Thousand Fountains, while training along with fellow Padawan Whie Malreaux under the tutelage of Swordmaster Cin Drallig, the three Jedi were attacked by Darth Vader as part of Operation: Knightfall.

While Vader fought Drallig with one hand, he used his free hand to choke Bene, killing her. Suffocating, she was no help to Drallig and died very quickly. Drallig was eventually killed by Vader as well. Serra Keto, who Bene had also trained with in the past, was also killed by Vader, by being crushed by an enormous column, becoming another victim of the Great Jedi Purge.

Bene was played by Mousy McCallum, the daughter of prequel trilogy producer Rick McCallum.

Bene is a Latin and Italian adverb meaning "well."
