He had a son named Gillam Tarturi, whose disappearance prompted Jedi Padawans Anakin Skywalker and Ferus Olin, along with the help of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi, to investigate. Berm Tarturi's political enemy in the Senate was Senator Sano Sauro.
