Besalisk, or Ojom, was the language used by the Besalisk species on their native world Ojom.
Spoken Besalisk included barks, growls and grunts as their main features.
There was a written form of Besalisk, that used a simple phonological transcription of their phonemes. Words on written form tended to be short.
Besalisks learned to speak (but not write) Basic from a short age.
