Besh gate was a space station that orbited the planet Zygerria. At some point between 1,000 BBY and 0 BBY, Atlee Thanda, the leader of the Zygerrian Thanda clan, traveled to Besh gate aboard his yacht, the Scourge, to await the arrival of the Clawdite Prit Kessek, a courier who was transporting some funds that had been provided to the Thanda clan by the shipping magnate Brevis Taug. However, several spacers began tracking Thanda down and they stole Kessek's transport, the Skinchanger, and arrived at the rendezvous in her place. The spacers then docked the Skinchanger with Besh gate and transferred over to the Scourge, where they attacked Thanda.
